Fingerprint and Password to open the safe
When you receive the product, the product has been initialized and is in factory mode.
First of all, use any fingerprint or initial password (123456#) to open the safe. The system prompts “Under factory setting”, then the key “1 ”and key“2” on the panel will be lighten at the same time. When pressing the “1” key, the lid will pop open and system prompt“Opened”.If pressing the “2” key, the drawer of the safe will open and system prompt “Opened”, the safes unlock and a beep sound follow up. Now the safe cover and the drawer can be closed again.
Fingerprint and Password Setting
2.1 There is a“Micro-setting button”on the inside under the biometric sensor pasted a piece of yellow label indication.
2.2 When the factory mode, use any finger to press the fingerprint sensor, and keep the fingertip and the sensor have enough effective contact area. The system will prompt "Under factory setting, opened", the safe unlock and a beep sound follow. Within 10 seconds after the beep sound, please press the Micro-setting button once and release it immediately, you will hear the system voice prompting "please put your fingerprint on scan sensor or enter your used code". Please follow the voice prompts, put the finger you need to enter fingerprint on the fingerprint sensor, and keep the effective contact area. Follow the voice prompts to complete the subsequent operations (generally need to repeat at least three effective entry steps).
After finishing the first fingerprint entry, within 10 seconds press the Micro-setting button again and release it immediately . Follow the voice prompts to add a new fingerprint again. You can key in 6-digit number in the touch panel as the password, then press the "#" key to confirm your input, and follow the voice prompts to enter the same password as the first time, then press the "#" key to confirm and complete the password setting.
Note: The second time you enter the password must be the same as the first time. The numeric password setting can only be 6-digit, and you can enter up to 10 groups.
Note: If the fingerprint data is incomplete or not captured correctly during the operation, the indicator light on the fingerprint sensor will turn red or there will be a voice promptings "Verification failed". Please adjust the angle of your finger or change your finger, and make sure that your finger or the surface of the fingerprint sensor is not contaminated with oil. Please restart the fingerprint entry or complete the fingerprint unlocking operation. When the sensor indicator light is green, it means the fingerprint entry is successful or the fingerprint verification is passed.
In order to increase the speed of fingerprint verification and improve the reliability of recording, especially for those whose fingerprints are worn out, please use the same finger to add several times.
2.3 When adding new fingerprints, please follow steps 2.1-2.2. The system can store up to 50 fingerprints. If your fingerprint is worn out or too light, we recommend you to turn on the "Flat Finger Mode" before you start to enter your fingerprint.
Fingerprint and Password delete(restore factory mode)
First of all, you need to unlocking operation by password or fingerprint then press the “Micro-setting button” within 10 seconds, (about 8 seconds of continuous pressing) after pressing and hearing 7 consecutive "drops", then a beep tone appear. Please release the button, the system will prompt "Restore Factory Settings Successfully " At this time, the product is initialized successfully, and all the fingerprints and digital passwords entered before will be cleared. The initialized password is 123456#. The system voice volume will be restored to the normal volume, but the language of the system will not be automatically switched.
Other settings
(There is no need to change the following settings without special requirements)
4.1 In the factory mode, press 65465411#, you will hear the voice prompts "operation successful", it means that the system has been switched to the "Flat Fingerprint Mode". The "Flat Fingerprint Mode" apply with Fuzzy fingerprint identification technology.
Input 65465433#, you will hear the voice prompts "Operation Successful", it means the system has canceled the "Flat Finger Mode".
4.2 Enter 6665554# to turn on/off the volume.
4.3 Input 6665556# to switch Chinese/English prompt language.
External emergency power supply
When the battery runs out and the device cannot be turned on, you can use a device such as a rechargeable battery to provide emergency power to the device.
First, press hard left-hand corner of the oval cover of the lock hole (SAGASAFE logo) with your thumb, the right end of the cover will be lifted up, and the oval lock hole will be revealed after take off this cover with the logo on it. Connect the power supply TYPE-C plug to the Type-C socket next to the hole to realize external power supply.
Mechanical Key Unlocking and Drawer Emergency Open
6.1 Mechanical Key Unlocking
In case you can't use fingerprint or forget the password, please use mechanical key to unlock the safe.
Same operation as the previous step, on the right side of the fingerprint sensor, there is the oval cover with SAGASAFE logo printed on it, please press the left end of the oval cover firmly, the right end of the oval cover will be cocked and show the lock hole, remove the logo, then Insert the key and push it all the way in then rotate it clockwise by 45 degrees. The safe cover will open automatically.
Attention: When you open the safe, please take out the battery compartment cover and remove one battery,then waiting 6 seconds and touch any key or fingerprint reader to complete power release. Now you can reinstall this battery again and follow step 2 to finished new password and new fingerprint setting.
6.2 Drawer Emergency Open
Please take off the foam cushion inside the safe box, find out the Emergency unlocking rope then pull it, the drawer will be opened. After finish, you must push in the drawer and closed, so the emergency rope and drawer lock will restore. you can put in the foam cushion in the end. If you have no sequential operation in order, the emergency rope will be stuck by foam cushion , the drawer lock will not be restore and the drawer cannot be close.
Battery replacement
When you hear the voice prompts “Low battery, please replace the battery in time", please open the safe cover in time, remove the battery cover, pull out the battery box, and replace 4 AAA batteries at one time. Please replace 4 batteries at one time to avoid mixing new and old batteries.
